We count visits and clicks to learn what's working. We don't use cookies, we don't try to identify you, and we never sell your information.
What we record
When you visit a page or click a link on this site, such as a sponsor's website, our servers may record:
- the page or link, and the date and time
- your device type, browser and operating system
- your language setting
- your approximate location (country, region and city), worked out from your internet connection, not your GPS
- the network you connect through, such as your mobile or internet provider
- the website that sent you here, if any
We don't keep your full IP address. To count unique visitors, we use a code that changes every day, so we can't follow you from one day to the next. We also record visits from bots and automated programs, to keep our numbers accurate and the site secure.
Why
To understand which events, pages and partners people are interested in, and to improve the site. We may share overall totals with our sponsors (for example, how many people visited their website from ours), never details about you.
What we don't do
- use cookies or advertising trackers
- build profiles of you or follow you across other websites
- sell or rent your information
Forms and email
Our email button and sponsor form open your own email app. We only receive what you choose to send, and we use it to reply to you and to send the event updates you asked for.
Other websites
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles requests to deliver it. Links to sponsors and social media take you to their websites, which have their own privacy policies.
